- Under AIX 3.1, the updatep command took a -t flag to specify an alternate
- directory where files replaced during an update were stored. However, in
- 3.2, the updatep command was subsumed by the installp command, which does
- not appear to have a similar flag. The reason for this is that I would like
- to apply but not commit a fix to /usr, without having /usr grow in the
- process.
