  12. though this is not really a TeX problem I hope that someone here could give
  13. me some help.

  15. I'm using gs (2.5.2) with a hpljet3 driver built in. When printing
  16. with the following script:

  18. gs -sDEVICE=hpljet3 -q -sPAPERSIZE=a4 -dNOPAUSE -sOutputfile=\|lpr $*

  20. through gs in quite modethe following unpleasant behaviour occurs:

  22. o gs ends printing with a GS> or GS<1> prompt which makes queued printing
  23.   impossible.

  25. o the ljet IIIp printer is set into manual paper feed mode before each
  26.   page. This is also not very neat when you have to print a 100 page
  27.   document.

  29. o when printing a file I sent through dvips before the lower edge
  30.   of the page is chopped off. I thought giving PAPERSIZE=a4 would cure
  31.   this but there is near to no change after giving this switch.

  33. Does anyone have an idea how I can get these things corrected?
