- Hunter Goatley kindly forwarded the DVIPS 5.495 distribution for VMS to me
- a while back (thanks, Hunter!!) which I have been remiss in announcing and
- getting a new description file for -- sorry. It includes the precompiled
- VMS executable, as well as the DVIPS library distribution (tfm and vf
- files) released with DVIPS 5.493 (which is stable through 5.495).
- Everything is there for VMS (object files, executables, sources, DCL
- command file to make it with your local conditions if they vary from those
- in the command file, and the CLD file to make DVIPS a comand verb in DCL).
-
- To retrieve the full set (17 part distribution of a UUENCODEd ZIP archive
- of DVIPS 5.495 and 10 part distribution of a UUENCODEd ZIP archive of
- DVIPS5493LIB -- 27 parts in all), include:
- SENDME DVIPS5495
- in the body of a mail message to FILESERV@SHSU.BITNET (FILESERV@SHSU.edu).
- If you just want DVIPS, include:
- SENDME DVIPS5495.UUE*
- and if you just want DVIPSLIB, include:
- SENDME DVIPS5495.5493LIB*
- in your mail to FILESERV. The ZIP files are available for anonymous ftp
- retrieval from Niord.SHSU.edu (192.92.115.8) in [FILESERV.DVIPS5495].
-
- If you are upgrading from a prior version, BE SURE that the new *.PRO files
- get into the TEX_POSTSCRIPT directory (where I had trouble and Hunter
- reported he had trouble originally when I told him I was having trouble).
-
- Regards, George
