  19. It's my understanding this is a rule of math typesetting. i.e. \int and
  20. \sum do NOT change size in properly set books, and therefore don't
  21. change size in TeX. One of the nice things about TeX is that it knows
  22. the rules, thus preventing the user from making a mistake.
