  13. Just a thought, but has anyone considered writing a program that translates
  14. METAFONT fonts into Adobe Type [13], HP PCL5 scalable font format or
  15. Apple/Microsoft Truetype font formats?

  17. Just think of the possibilities: for example by converting METAFONT to PCL5
  18. we can have TeX documents that take advantage of Resolution Enhancement!
  19. Not to mention being able to incorporate TeX fonts in Windows word
  20. processors, etc.
