- I have a paper I am trying to typeset in twocolumn mode using the twocolumn
- style. In the paper, I have several tables which are too wide to fit in a
- single column while in twocolum mode. However, LaTeX attempts to squeeze them
- in (with poor results).
-
- Is there a simple solution to getting wide tables formatted properly in a
- twocolum paper. Ideally, I would like the tables to be formatted in onecolumn
- mode, but text in twocolumn mode. I tried to manually switch between the two,
- but then I had to mess with moving text around, inserting page/line breaks,
- etc. Is there a simpler solution?
