- I'm running Euro-OzTeX
- (FTP-ed from ftp.cicb.fr [IP 129.20.128.2]
- directory pub/gut/Euro-OzTeX)
- on a Mac Classic II (4MB RAM),
- printing on a StyleWriter (360dpi).
- I'm very pleased with this setup.
- The StyleWriter output seems to me as good as a LaserWriter.
-
- I previously ran OzTeX on a Mac Plus (1MB RAM)
- without any problems.
-
- The Euro-OzTeX has one or two minor problems to iron out,
- but with Yannis in charge I'm sure this is only a matter of time.
- (I should emphasize that TeX itself runs perfectly well.)
-
- I find it slightly easier to run TeX on the Mac
- than on a Sun with xdvi and dvips.
-
- I'm sure TeXtures is technically superior to OzTeX.
- On the other hand TeX is TeX is TeX ...
- if it runs then it doesn't much matter where it runs.
