  12.     I do have TeX and dvi2ps, others compiled, but it was a frustrating
  13. experience.  The README's "sort of" point at each other, you end up making
  14. directories that the Makefiles don't, and so on.

  16.     So, next chance, I'm going to rip it up and install everything
  17. from scratch...  I should note that compiling X11R3, R4, and R5 was
  18. quite a bit easier, and I've handled quite a number of other non-trivial
  19. installations.

  21.     Has anyone made a file of notes of problems they encountered when
  22. installing TeX?  May I have you email it to me?

  24.     There's some sort of secret "I made it through TeX installation"
  25. society, right? :-)
