  12. I am using emTeX (the 1990 3.0 version from ymir.claremont.edu) and tried
  13. using MS-DOS dvips 5.49 on the file emtex.dvi.  It needed the font lcircle10,
  14. and METAFONT complained that it couldn't find the lcircle10.mf file.

  16. The problem, of course, is that "lcircle10" is more than 8 characters.  My
  17. "mfinputs" directory has the truncated name "lcircle1.mf".  Has anyone
  18. sucessfully dealt with this situation?
