- I am using emTeX (the 1990 3.0 version from ymir.claremont.edu) and tried
- using MS-DOS dvips 5.49 on the file emtex.dvi. It needed the font lcircle10,
- and METAFONT complained that it couldn't find the lcircle10.mf file.

- The problem, of course, is that "lcircle10" is more than 8 characters. My
- "mfinputs" directory has the truncated name "lcircle1.mf". Has anyone
- sucessfully dealt with this situation?
