  12.    Does anyone know of some good sources of information
  13. on the HyTime and DSSSL standards?  I am currently 
  14. working on a project which involves processing an SGML
  15. document, and am researching the best way to specify
  16. such things as format and application specific information.
  17. The goal is to allow the author to use their own DTD
  18. with as little modification as possible.

  20.    My current plan is to require a core set of attributes
  21. which would be used by the processor to identify element
  22. types.  The format information would be maintained in 
  23. a style sheet which would be merged with the document
  24. during parsing.

  26.    I have been told that the HyTime and DSSSL standards
  27. are very relevent to this project.  Any information
  28. on these standards, or suggestions on how to best
  29. achieve my goal would be much appreciated.
