- Does anyone have experience with opening large MIF files using Frame
- under Windows?
-
- I'm presently testing a system I wrote to produce a MIF file from
- information in a FoxPro system I developed. I need to produce 2
- documents from the information, a short and long version.
- I just finished the program to
- produce the smaller document (about 40 pages, 2 column layout)
- and the .MIF file was around 1.7 megs. The other document
- I need to produce is considerably larger and more complicated
- (~150 pages, 40 tables,
- and cross references), the MIF for this doc is bound to be huge,
- will Frame be able to open it?
-
- I'm running a 386-33 with 8 megs of RAM.
-
- Allowing 2 megs from Frame, this leave around 6 megs of available memory,
- can Frame handle a > 6 meg MIF file?
-
- Any info would be appreciated - I need to know if the larger document is
- 'doable' before I start coding its conversion program...
