  21. I don't think so.  The most straightforward workaround I can think
  22. of off the top of my head is to use cross-references by:
  23.  
  24.      +    Creating an autonumbered paragraph type called "Endnote," with
  25.     a number format of "[<n+>]"
  26.  
  27.      +    Putting each reference in a paragraph of this type.
  28.  
  29.      +    Creating a character style called "Endnote" which would reduce
  30.           the point size and enable the superscript attribute
  31.  
  32.      +    Creating a cross-reference format called "Endnote"  with a
  33.          format of <Endnote>[<$paranum>]<Default P Font>
  34.      
  35.      +    Adding a cross-reference to the Endnote paragraph that lists 
  36.           the reference.
