  17. the old ss/sd shugarts were really lousy...
  18. I personally use Teac and Mitsubishi's.

  22. Seagate (sleazegate) drive quality depends entirely on the model... most of the
  23. ones I have seen had all sorts of Quality Control problems... though the ST225's
  24. were pretty stable...  Best I have seen are Maxtor and Micropolis, though I have
  25. no experience with other brands and cannot comment on them.
