- We have recently purchased a Sun VideoPix frame grabber for use
- on-board a mobile robot. Unfortunately, I am having some trouble
- with the board...
-
- My problem is this: I have two cameras connected to VideoPix, and I'd
- like to alternately grab images from each as fast as possible. However,
- there seems to be no good (that is, obvious) way of determining when the
- board is in sync with the video signal. So, if I switch to a camera and
- grab an image, more than likely it is garbled. The best solution that
- I have found thus far is to just delay for an arbitrary amount of time
- between switching inputs and grabbing the image.
-
- I talked with Sun's technical support, and the gentleman that I spoke with
- seemed to know no more about the board than I did. If anyone has any
- experience with this aspect of the VideoPix board, I'd appreciate your
- input.
-
- Please email, if possible.
-
- Thanks,
-
