- It shouldn't make *any* noticeable performance difference; that's not
- what the "sticky bit" is for on directories. "Sticky directories" are
- directories from which only the owner of a file, or the super-user, or, I
- think, on some flavors of UNIX, the owner of the directory, can remove a
- file.
