  14. I downloaded the xpilot sources from wuarchive/volume14 over the weekend,
  15. and I am trying to compile it on a Sun IPX running SunOS 4.1.3.  I am
  16. having
  17. a lot of trouble, and have tracked the problems to be the fact that the 
  18. makefile I got is mostly configured for HPUX, and sun's implementation of
  19. X is nothing like that.

  21. Someone out there has bound to have compiled this for SunOS.  If you have
  22. and have had success, I want to hear from you.  A tar of the actual
  23. executables would be excellent, a properly working makefile would be
  24. good, and just some general help and pointers would be very helpful.  I 
  25. long to play this game on my Sun, as it is one of my favorites.

  27. I have Imakefile and xmkmf on my machine to facilitate compiling x
  28. programs,
  29. but have never done this before.  I know just enough about unix to make
  30. me dangerous.
