- -especially if you're running X users via xdm. MAXUSERS from the kernel
- Makefile is used to set the max number of processes in param.c. We recently
- had about 8 users, all running X, and we easily hit the process limit on a
- SS2. I remade the kernel with MAXUSERS 16, which is what it is on our 630MP,
- and it's happy now (if you can call a machine with a load average of 45 happy
- :-)
