  21.   I just did this about 2 weeks ago on this system (an SS2) and was very
  22. pleasantly suprised at the ease of the installation.  I was on 4.1.1b with
  23. OW2 and NewsPrint 1.0.

  25.   Since NewsPrint 1.0 was fine for what we were doing with it and we don't
  26. have it on support etc. we didn't upgrade it. So it had to be re-installed
  27. using the small-openwin option since it won't work with OW3.  That was
  28. pretty simple tho, if you've kept track of the customizations you have done
  29. over the year(s).... (This is discussed in the back of one of the OW3 docs.)

  31.   Got that working, then installed OW3. No problems there.

  33.   Installed 4.1.3.  No problems there, just remember, if you are running
  34. NewsPrint and you are gonna use the GENERIC-SMALL kernel you need to go in
  35. and turn on the LWP and ASYNCIO options.

  37.   I use the modified shlib stuff for DNS only so I had to upgrade that, and 
  38. also put in a few of the sendmail/OW3 etc. patches, most of them in the docs.

  40. Worked suprisingly easily, tip-o-the-hat to Sun on this one.
