  14. I have a NewsPrint 2.0 and a SparcPrinter - and all works well.

  16. Is it possible to connect another printer to the parallel port and
  17. drive a dumb (non-newsprint) printer?  I tried connecting to /dev/bpp0
  18. in /etc/printcap but the print still come out the sparcprinter
  19. (/dev/lpvi0).  Catting a file to /dev/bpp0 also comes out the
  20. sparcprinter (as junk by the way, no ascii).

  22. I also tried add_np_printer hoping that would do something I
  23. overlooked - no luck, it still prints to the sparcprinter.

  25. Can you use that second port on the S-Bus card that way?
