- One possibility for adding a PostScript printer to your network is to buy
- a network box that knows the BSD lpd protocol. Then you can simply tell
- lpd on your sun (via /etc/printcap) to print remotely.

- We have two Chase IOPRINT boxes, which in Denmark cost approx. US$800,
- that drive 1 parallel and 2 serial printers each. They are really excellent
- devices and well worth the money !! You can telnet to the box for
- configuration, and it can act as an lpd print server. You can also print
- from HP-UX and IBM-AIX systems, as well as through NeWSprint.
- PCs with FTP Software's PC/TCP can also print directly.
