- Summary: I want to change the message printed b/f the login prompt
- Keywords: banner, login, message
-
- I need to change the message printed before the login prompt (what is
- usually "SunOS UNIX (hostname)") to (or add) a short, one line message.
- Can this be done on a Sun? IRIX has /etc/issue to handle this chore; how
- does Sun handle this? (BTW, SunOS 4.1.3)
- Thanks,
- -jk
