- What exactly is the difference between the Exabyte 8200 and the
- Exabyte 8500 in the way data is written to tape?

- I believe both the 8200 and the 8500 use the helical scan technology,
- how exactly does the 8500 achieve the higher density over the 8200,
- is compression used?

- If I write a tape on an 8500 connected to a Sun can I read it back on
