- I applied the diffs that were posted to the amd-workers mailing list a
- week or so ago. Amd compiled cleanly, but dies silently with a bus error
- if I try to touch anything in my /usr/local map. The /users and /proj
- maps behave nicely, but anything in /usr/local causes amd to silently die,
- leaving the system in such an inconsistent state that it must be rebooted.
-
- I'm using the Cygnus port of gcc under Solaris 2.1. I guess something in
- one of my maps is tickling a bug in the 2.x port. When I have a chance to
- dig into it a little more completely, I'll post something to amd-workers.
