- Telnet to hermes.merit.edu, and at the prompt "Which Host," type
- "compuserve".
- The CompuServe access via hermes.merit.edu employs Telenet, Inc's X.25
- connection to CompuServe. Therefore, there are additional surcharges to
- pay for the Telenet packet-passing involvement, over and above your regular
- CompuServe connect time charges. The charges are the same as Sprintnet
- charges. In fact, if you 'GO Billing' while in CS you will see the
- sprintnet charges for the sessions you connected through hermes.merit.edu.
- The current rates are $11.80/hr for 8-5 m-f (EST) and $1.80 for all other
- times.
