  25. Telnet to hermes.merit.edu, and at the prompt "Which Host," type
  26. "compuserve".
  27. The CompuServe access via hermes.merit.edu employs Telenet, Inc's X.25
  28. connection to CompuServe.  Therefore, there are additional surcharges to
  29. pay for the Telenet packet-passing involvement, over and above your regular
  30. CompuServe connect time charges.  The charges are the same as Sprintnet
  31. charges.  In fact, if you 'GO Billing' while in CS you will see the
  32. sprintnet charges for the sessions you connected through hermes.merit.edu. 
  33. The current rates are $11.80/hr for 8-5 m-f (EST) and $1.80 for all other
  34. times.
