- I am in the process of setting up a Sun to be an anonymous ftp site. I know
- already how to enable daemon logging via inetd and syslogd. This allows me to
- keep a record of when the anonymous ftp is being used and what machine is
- using it.
-
- My question is: How do I obtain more information on the anonymous ftp user?
- For instance, is it possible to get a copy of the ident given by the user as
- the password for the anonymous ftp?
-
- I looked in the FAQ and while it explains in perfect detail how to set-up an
- anonymous ftp site it does not discuss how to log information.
-
- Please respond via e-mail. If there is enough interest I will post a
- follow-up.
-
- thanks in advance.
