  16.     Sun SPARC 1+, SunOS 4.1.1
  17.     40Mb memory, 82 Mb swap
  18.     OpenWindows 3.0 NFS-mounted from a server

  20. Description
  21.     A user remotely logs into the SPARC 1+ from the
  22.     Mac in his office via MacX. When trying to start 
  23.     $OPENWINHOME/bin/mailtool, the following error is
  24.     displayed, and the mailtool fails to start
  25.  
  26.        ld.so: Map heap error (22) on /dev/zero
  27.  
  28.    The user's path and OPENWINHOME are set to the correct values for
  29. our site. There is only one user having this problem, and he claims 
  30. that it "was working a week ago"; no other MacX or Sun users have
  31. reported this problem to me. I don't recall any recent system changes, 
  32. and the user doesn't recall any configuration changes (i.e. .cshrc or
  33. login). I have also asked the user to try to recreate the problem at 
  34. the console of the machine in question.
