- I'm posting this for a friend who doesn't have e-mail/USENET access, so I
- haven't witnessed the problem...but here goes:
-
- ---cut---
- The error I'm getting happens at startup while trying to start the netlsd
- daemon. The exact text of the error message is as follows:
-
- netlsd: Unable to register with locating broker earlier timestamp (network
- computing system/DRM)
-
- The error appears after we notice our system clock was set 9 months into the
- future and we changed it to the correct date. Several files have the future
- date now. Apparently, some of the files related to netlsd were affected.
-
- What's going on?
- ---cut end----
-
- Aside: % man netlsd
- Just say no! :)
