  37. Attention SGI Abekas A60 video disk users.
  38.  
  39. Those who have used the remote A60 controller software found in 
  40. /usr/people/4Dgifts/iristools/abekas/_panel might be interested to 
  41. find I have made extensive modifications to it.  Much time was spent
  42. verifying that the remote graphics control panel (ACP) emulates 
  43. the actual Abekas one as closely as possible:
  44.  
  45.     - bugs fixed
  46.     - Command-line A60 hostname specification
  47.     - 4-digit frame position display
  48.     - Variable play speed now saved (for subsequent variable play selects)  
  49.     - Recording implemented
  50.     - Current play status (operation and direction, if known) 
  51.     - Play (normal or variable) speed/Recording length
  52.     - More user GUI feedback (color, text...)
  53.     - Userid stamp (displayed on A60 monitor to show current remote userid)
