  20. /usr/lib/uucp/Uutry simply runs uucico.
  21. /usr/lib/uucp/uucio opens the port with NDELAY (given an appropriate
  22. line in Devices), which is supposed to tell the port to not bother
  23. waiting for DCD.

  25. As far as I know, only the Supra is associated with this problem.
  26. Other modems, including those programmed by /usr/lib/uucp/fix-*,
  27. leave DCD false until carrier is finally detected, and uucico
  28. works whether uugetty is on or not.
