  10. I recently upgraded our two 4D70TG's to 4.0.1:

  12.     machine: slow    - cpu: MIPS R2000A/R3000 16Meg
  13.     machine: dogslow - cpu: MIPS R2000A/R3000 8Meg

  15. Since updating, these machines run very slowly whenever any window operations
  16. are performed.  The 16Meg machine runs at an almost tolerable pace, but the
  17. other machine just crawls.

  19. There doesn't seem to be any abnormal processes running, but gr_top on dogslow
  20. shows alot of CPU activity with Xsgi, though Xsgi isn't growing too quickly. 
  21. Is the problem that dogslow doesn't have enough memory for X?  If so, how can
  22. I prove this to justify the purchase of more memory (if it's available)?

  24. PS - installing 4.0.5 gives the same result
