- HI
- I am setting up some Tek XP15 terminals to run in a mixed host environment.
- Apart from the usual inconsistencies with the <= key between DEC, SGI, etc
- the only major problem I am having is that 'endsession' won't work correctly.
- There appears to be an error generated by the xprop part of the script where
- it is having difficulties with the DISPLAY environment (somehow the last
- digit is missing) and since it works with everything else I won't mess
- with this.
-
- I haven't had this problem with various PC X emulators (all awfully slow in
- comparison with the Tek's) which always disengage gracefully.
-
- Has anyone come across this little problem (it may be due to the Tek ROM's
- which will be updated 'real soon' but might be something else).
-
- If I start 4Dwm from a telnet session I have to kill the PS before exiting
- otherwise the screen is alive and well but needs resetting before any more
- logins can be made.
-
- Obviously this is not strictly to do with sgi.hardware but it is a
- reasonable home for my question 8-)
- Thanks
- Neil
