  13. I have a mixed-mode window that takes several seconds to draw.
  14. This window has a pulldown menu that naturally overlaps the
  15. mixed-mode drawing area.  When the menu selection is finished
  16. the menu pop-down causes an expose event which results in a long
  17. redraw wait.

  19. Is there any way to put the Motif graphics (or at least the pulldown
  20. menu graphics) in another group of bitplanes, such as the overlay
  21. bitplanes?  Any other options since the Xsgi doesn't support backingstore?
