  13. I have written a Motif application on the IRIS which uses Display Postscript
  14. to draw text into an X pixmap.  I then transfer the contents of this pixmap
  15. to a GLX widget.  I want to use the shape extension so that the background
  16. of the text/GLX widget is transparent.  I am using XShapeCombineMask to 
  17. to set the mask pixmap of the GLX window but it does not seem to have any
  18. effect.

  20. Is the GLX widget compatible with the shape extension?  Is there any
  21. sample code available?
