  31. I'm sorry if you were upset by this response.  I appreciate
  32. your desire to see QuickTime on our platform, but the reality
  33. of the situation is that in order for it to be a product that
  34. you're going to be able to use, we have to invest a significant
  35. amount of engineering effort into making it work well, and
  36. integrated with the movie software which is already available
  37. on our system.

  39. Finally, SGI employs me to design and develop software
  40. products.  SGI does not employ me to provide ship dates for
  41. unreleased products on Usenet, and in fact many people at SGI
  42. would get quite upset with me were I to do so.
