  20. The original contract was arranged by marketing people who also made
  21. all the fanfare.  Since then we have been facing the engineering
  22. reality.  The C source code we received from Apple is incredibly Macintosh
  23. specific and difficult to port.  The compression code is all written in 68xxx
  24. assembler.  We are essentially having to write rather than port the quicktime
  25. code.  There will be no further announcements until we have a product to
  26. ship.
