  12. I looked at a ps -e listing of the current processes...

  14. and there were at least 25 sendmail processes running.

  16. What could cause sendmail to be run more than once? I thought that
  17. the only place that sendmail was invoked was by init on startup.

  19. I've rebooted the machine a few times, and this doesn't seem to help.
  20. Killing all but one of the processes doesn't work either.

  23. OH-- also when running osview.... there are alway around 60-70 graphics
  24. interrupts every second, and about 250-300 system interrupts a second.
  25. EVEN when the machine is just sitting there with only one user!!
