- We need to purchase a large (>= 1 Gbyte) scsi disk, to use
- first on a Mac, then, moved onto an Indigo Extreme. (We also
- need to get some disks just for SGI's.)
-
- I seek a disk that will:
-
- * work on either ( preferably without changing internal jumpers, etc. )
- * use the Extreme's Fast SCSI-2 to advantage
- * be reliable
-
- A vendor I like offers:
-
- Seagate Elite ST41600N 1.3GB formatted
- Seagate Elite ST41200N 1.0GB formatted
-
- Hewlett Packard 97558T 1.0GB formatted
-
- Toshiba MK538-FB 1.2GB formatted
-
- Any recommendations, pro or con?
-
- Thanks.
