- We run a small robotics lab and we have a 4 yr old Personal Iris 4D20
- which we would like to upgrade. We have 24 bit color and Z buffer, and
- the CPU runs at 12 MHz. Both rendering and compile-times are obviously
- very slow for today's standards. Recently there were some postings on
- what can be done both in terms of CPU speed and graphic hardware
- upgrades. I would appreciate if that (or any related) information were
- posted again, in particular, mentioning approximate prices of the
- various options available.
