- | I reinstalled a SCSI drive in both the mtab and fstab;

- | /dev/dsk/dks0d4s7 /usr8 efs rw,raw=/dev/rdsk/dks0d4s7 0 0
- |
- | The drive seems to work fine, but when I launched the SystemChest and ran
- | System Manager, Disktools, I got the following warning;
- |
- | "These following entries are invalid or inconsistent:"
- | "File Sys: /dev/dsk/dks0d4s7 Mount dir: /usr8 File: /etc/mtab"
- |
- | Did I do something wrong with the mtab? Like I said the drive seems to be
- | operation just fine. I have looked at data that was there prior to the

- | before, so I must have screwed something up.
-
- It probably means that you never made a filesystem on the drive,
- or that mtab claims it is mounted, but isn't. I don't remember
- any bugs like this in 3.3, but that is a while back (for me).
