- I had to rebuild one of our machines from scratch this week, and
- everything is fine but one thing.
-
- I reinstalled a SCSI drive in both the mtab and fstab;
-
- fstab and mtab additions were;
- /dev/dsk/dks0d4s7 /usr8 efs rw,raw=/dev/rdsk/dks0d4s7 0 0
-
- The drive seems to work fine, but when I launched the SystemChest and ran
- System Manager, Disktools, I got the following warning;
-
- "These following entries are invalid or inconsistent:"
- "File Sys: /dev/dsk/dks0d4s7 Mount dir: /usr8 File: /etc/mtab"
-
- Did I do something wrong with the mtab? Like I said the drive seems to be
- operation just fine. I have looked at data that was there prior to the
- rebuild, moved stuff, etc. and no problems. I didn't get that warning
- before, so I must have screwed something up.
-
- FYI, I am still running 3.3.2
-
- Thanks for ANY help you can offer.
