- Okay - here's one. How about a morse code program for the 95LX? (Someday
- I'll get to General!)
-
- ----------
-
- I downloaded three programs from a bbs, with the following results:
-
- Supermorse ran, but very strangely. It would start out very slowly,
- gradually increase in speed, until the characters were just a blur, and
- about five would go by in 100mS. Then, suddenly, it would start over,
- going slowly again. It would repeat this cycle every five seconds or so.
- I also made the mistake of not exiting this program when turning off
- the 95LX, and found it beeping at 2:00 AM the next day, with dead
- batteries. I'd like a technical explanation of what's going on here...
- (the speed variation that is; I understand the turn-on at midnight)
-
- A second program wouldn't run at all.
-
- The third program, Morse Master, runs, with one slight problem noticed.
- I think the timing varies slightly depending upon whether a key is
- pressed, so pressing keys to generate code in real time doesn't work
- too well. I found it as self-extracting morsms.com; the documentation
- claims it should be named morsmstr.arc or morsmstr.zip.
