  13.           I have been toying with this idea and will present
  14.           it  for your  consideration.   Do you  suppose you
  15.           could  use several programs  that process standard
  16.           I/O to back up a palmtop?  I.e.:

  18.           tar -cf . | compress | kermit -is -> kermit -ir >t

  20.           (tar  and compress being  MKS Toolkit utilities or
  21.           equivalents)

  23.           Can  anyone think  of a good  reason this wouldn't
  24.           work?   I  have thought about  it and  read up far
  25.           enough  on it to see that all commands involved do
  26.           STDIO.  What do you think?
