- I have been toying with this idea and will present
- it for your consideration. Do you suppose you
- could use several programs that process standard
- I/O to back up a palmtop? I.e.:

- tar -cf . | compress | kermit -is -> kermit -ir >t

- (tar and compress being MKS Toolkit utilities or
- equivalents)

- Can anyone think of a good reason this wouldn't
- work? I have thought about it and read up far
- enough on it to see that all commands involved do
- STDIO. What do you think?
