  12.         Here's some interesting info on the Sharp Wizard OZ-9600 (Pen Wizard).
  13. From the catalog provided by Rupp Technology Corporation, there is only 109k of
  14. user memory (probably due to ROM and graphical overhead?) even though there is
  15. 256k of memory advertised.  This is NOT mentioned outside the box or in the
  16. users manual (that I could find).  Does anyone else know something about this?

  18.         The contrast of the unit is comparable to the OZ-7XXX series (which 
  19. was fair).  This is probably due to the touch screen.  The OZ-8XXX series has 
  20. the best contrast of any palmtop that I have seen.  They also have a usable 
  21. QWERTY keyboard for taking quick notes.  My OZ-7200 is challenging when taking 
  22. notes...  I was very disappointed when the Casio SFR-20 came out with top
  23. features only to find the QWERTY keyboard too tightly packed for my tastes.  I
  24. do have average sized hands though.  I wore surgical gloves size 7.5 or 8 when
  25. I was in the military.  Anyone with small hands might find those keyboards
  26. usable.  How does anyone touch-type on the Psion's is a mystery to me...  It's
  27. a great machine otherwise...

  29.         The OZ-9600 Pen Wizard even has a better keyboard than the OZ-8XXX
  30. series!  The keys are softer and more widely spaced (definitely a bonus).  The
  31. only reason I prefer the OZ-8600(s) over the OZ-9600 is because of my question
  32. with the amount of user memory available.  If anyone can shed more light on
  33. this I would greatly appreciate it.  The best price I could find for an OZ-8600
  34. was around $380.  Does anyone know if this model is available with the textured
  35. exterior?  (like model OZ-8600S?).  The OZ-9600 comes standard with the
  36. soft textured exterior.  My friend's smooth OZ-8000 is peeling very badly...
