- Someone posted an article explaining how they had successfully run
- pkzip on their .5M 95 to do a backup. They suggested that perhaps the
- archiver I transfered to my 95 was corrupted. I attempted to transfer it
- to my 95 again and I got the same results - memory overflow. I do not
- beleive that the .exe files were corrupted as they execute with no arguments
- resulting in the usual help screen. The archivers I tried were lharc.exe
- and zip.exe (from zip19x) both from eddie.mit.edu. I can not find a
- pkzip.exe... where is it? Any ideas why my 95 is reacting this way?

- ps. I have tried a number of different system/disk memory ratios. None work.
- at one point I ran chkdsk and found that I had 130k of system ram and 60k
- of disk ram... shouldn't this be enought? perhaps zip19 and lharc require
- more and pkzip doesn't?
