- Earlier this week I reviewed the ZEOS Pocket PC.
- In said review I mentioned that I had to press
- grave accent (`) twice in Works Communications to
- get one to the Unix system. I discovered last
- night (while learning about Works' macro
- facility), that grave accent is Works' "skip
- macro" key. It's purpose is to disable a keyboard
- macro for on keypress of the key sequence the
- macro is assigned to. So for instance, I have a
- macros assigned to ^S that prints a Works document
- to a disk file and then pastes this file into the
- communications window. If I want to send a ^S to
- the communications window (to stop output from the
- host), I need to hit ` followed by ^S to keep the
- macro from being executed. Hope this avoids some
- confusion for someone!
