- I'm looking for information and recommendations for a DAT drive backup
- system (hardware and software) for my Novell networks. I currently have
- nine file servers all running Netware 2.15C (budget problems have made
- upgrades problematical), with hard disks ranging in size from 80 MB to
- 1.2 GB. Since we're only likely to add more and bigger disks, I figure
- DAT is the way to go.
-
- As I'll be stuck with 2.15C at least at some sites even if we do get
- some $$ to upgrade, I'll need a workstation-based, as opposed to server-
- based, system. I'd also like it to include software that would let me
- easily schedule unattended backups.
-
- I've heard about Emeritus's Tapeware and know there's someone on the net
- from that company who'd have information about this, but I cleverly lost
- his e-mail info. Any other pointers to products and vendors would be
- appreciated. Thanks.
