- I have found great performance improvements by changing some Netware/NFS
- parameters:
- SET READ AFTER WRITE VERIFY = OFF (check docs, not safe for all cntrllrs.)
- SET ENABLE IMMEDIATE PURGE OF DELETED FILES = ON (whatever this param is that
- doesn't put stuff in deleted.sav)
- and the biggest improvement: enable asynchronus writes at the NFS config
- screen. This is also a very very very very slight corruption point, but if
- you are on UPS, I wouldn't worry about it.

- BTW, to judge performance of NFS servers, check out the nhfsstone benchmark.
- Very easy to use, very consistent results and good details in the output.
