- Oooo....this is not a good idea. Windows likes to have all the drive mappings
- (as well as print captures) "set" prior to launching windows....and windows
- absolutely *hates* to have a user logout from under it....things have a
- tendency to to go "boom". :( Anyway, if you come up with a way to logout and
- login while in windows, please let us know, because it's kind of a major
- sticking point in our deployment.
-
- Also, if you could make program groups appear and disappear from the desktop
- when a user is/isn't logged in would be a cool trick.
-

- : directory where the software is located.
-
- I think you can do this by setting up the "current working directory" in the
- PIF (if it's a DOS app), or you set up a uniform mapping patter for the user's
- home directory (like, do a map root at the user level, and then always make
- the working directory 'u:\' or something, y'know?).
-
- : Also, when users logout, the paths need to be reset somehow.
-
- This is part of windows not liking to have novell log out from under it...
-
- : We use a lot of non-Windows math applications which make everything
- : tricky. If anyone can give me some information or tell me where to find
- : it, I would be most appreciative.
-
- Novell is starting to put together a course on "Windows on Netware", which is
- overpriced, but hey, it gives you some good info...
