  12. I use a Macintosh to create image files for processing by a PC.
  13. Without having to rename the Macintosh up to 31 character filenames
  14. to the MS-DOS's more restrictive 8.3 filename.filetype scheme, does
  15. anyone know how Novell does it for the LAN? I want to just move a
  16. selected subset of images from a photo archive into a Macintosh folder,
  17. generate a report correlating Macintosh image filenames along with a
  18. description of the selected images, and then use that report on the
  19. PC connected to the same LAN as the Macintosh to process those images.
  20. Anyone have an answer? Is there any documentation on how Novell does it?
