- I worked with Novell Tech Support on a similar problem - 2 NE3200's that
- wouldn't happily coexist. Drove me crazy (me and about 120 LAN users...),
- and we finally concluded that the 2 cards couldn't coexist, even after
- trying several versions of the LAN drivers. I've heard numerous reports to
- that effect. I guess I'll have to get on NetWire and see if the driver
- there is the one I had. (I had one that apparently wasn't fully tested, as
- I had to get a password to download it.)
-
- It'd be nice to not have to return the second card, though I've been told
- that if I want good performance from an EISA card, the 3C509 is
- top-of-the-line because of the parallel I/O processors. There won't be much
- on the segment besides the server and the router, so it would seem that I
- could take advantage of the card's ability to really pump the data out.
- Thoughts?
